Since opening my practice in June of 2000, I’ve researched and discovered some of the best gem and flower essences and essential oils on the planet. I’ve been using Alaskan Essences since around 2003. They are made in Victor, Montana and I was drawn to take a workshop in Hamilton in September of 2015. The focus was on working with animals. Working with animals can also help the humans in the household.
Essences give support to inner work at the emotional and energetic levels. When someone (including animals!) is in a transformation process, the mineral, plant and environmental ‘tribes’ want to assist in the evolution of humans. I believe that this support has been amped up for these times of turmoil and conflict, to the extent that these essences become very powerful stabilizers and help settle and integrate the experiences we are having.
The last of the five senses to leave at death is said to be the sense of smell. Essential oils in the death room, used carefully, can be a tremendous help to someone who is dying. Earth Angel Oils has specific formulas for transition, comfort and pain relief. They are the purest oils on the planet and are bottled by hand, with loving intention and careful detail. There are many blends for all kinds of conditions: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, and if owner Helen doesn’t have a formula for what ails you, she will make you one.
My first kit of essences was the Perelandra sets. Over the years I’ve added Tree Frog Farm, and Essences of the Desert, a product made from plants in the Southwestern deserts of the US. There are some kits in this company’s offerings that are specifically for sexual wounding and trauma and are a very powerful support when people are working with a therapist or healer.
We are so fortunate to have so many helpful and supportive tools as we clear the past, heal ancestral and generational patterns and integrate our understanding of life’s journey.
