Join the local chapter of the American Society of Dowsers for a free presentation by Jade Beaty. She will share about intuitive skills and how to develop and use them for the greater good. Some of the techniques Jade uses are the pendulum, kinesthetic self-testing and a cultivation of pure awareness in present moment that brings all the information needed. Jade will share some of her healing tools from the elemental and natural kingdoms, such as flower and gem essences, space clearing items and essential oils. She plans to complete the evening with a group reading, using tarot cards to conclude the discussion.

Out of retirement ~ into the debate…with love. We are launching a monthly newsletter, The Blissful Times. Please sign up so you can get this inspirational and affirming bit of good news every month.
The Blissful Times was published by Jade Beaty and Sensual Wisdom from Fall, 2002 through Spring, 2006. It was revived from April, 2009 to September, 2010, then discontinued until now. We’re excited about this new method of sharing highlights in the political news and ways to bring love, peace and understanding to our conversations. (Oh, and don't forget civility & maturity!)

January's theme is Spiritual Evolution. My title is "Everybody Has Their Song." I will craft my presentation around personal experiences and some theory that I have developed about integrating all parts of who we are and being fully incarnate, embodied and present in the moment as Soul.
The Center For Spiritual Life is a precious bright light in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, full of pioneering souls from all walks of life and spiritual paths. We honor all paths to God, providing a warm and welcoming environment to come together and be transformed by Spirit.

Bridging Spirituality and Health: A Personal Experience
Last November, Z'eva was invited to join  a small international group in an extraordinary Brazilian spiritual healing adventure.
While in Brazil, she witnessed specialized counselors and doctors whose work at a large and well respected public hospital is free to Brazilians and addresses mental and physical illness, as well as addiction problems. The practitioners are entirely devoted to healing through Spiritism, which translates as a non-medical approach, similar to energy medicine and spiritual emergence.
Join us for this fascinating perspective and hear more about Z'eva's amazing journey.

Since I'm speaking on the last day of the month, and our April theme will be Sprouting Infinite Possibilities, I'll combine the two in my talk, with my title, Walking with Vision: How Infinite ARE the Possibilities? I will craft my presentation around personal experiences, the power of the cosmic mind and how we can align with it.
Jade will introduce her upcoming playshop, Infinite Possibiliites, starting April 6th.

    • Promote inclusivity and diversity in the Valley
    Collectively:
    • Develop community presence as a group
    • Explore opportunities to help educate about and expose the work that we do (Farmer’s Market, health fairs, partnerships with other business owners)
    • Use of co-creative partnerships for our meeting place and the business services we use
    • Develop a Directory of Practitioners for distribution in the Bitterroot Valley
Jade founded a similar organization, The Healing River Alliance in Bastrop, Texas in 2004. That group is still going strong and publishes an annual directory.

Bring something yummy to share and meet and greet peer practitioners in the holistic arts. Everyone is welcome, whether you have a healing practice, or have experienced holistic modalities and want to learn more.

We will have a short business meeting at 6 PM and talk about moving our time together into committees. Right now, we are focusing on two tasks:

Events Committee: Working toward our first event for the public, perhaps in Spring, 2020.

Public Relations/ Networking Committee: Spread the word, throughout the Valley and find a person in each town that would like to be a touchstone networker for all those with holistic practices in that location.

Bi-monthly meetings are suspended for now. Please contact Jade with input or questions.

Summer, Early Fall 2020Missoula & The Bitterroot Valley
This is a long-term project that I started working on around the end of last year. My intention is to bring Claude AnShin Thomas to Montana. Here is an initial information piece:
Proposal: To bring Claude AnShin Thomas, a Zen Buddhist monk, for a visit to Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley. Anticipated dates are in the summer or early fall of 2020.
Claude AnShin Thomas wrote the book At Hell’s Gate ~ A Soldier’s Journey from War to Peace (Shambhala 2004). It is a courageous telling of his time as an American soldier in Vietnam, from 1966 to 1967. In 1991 he came in contact with the Zen monk Thich Nhat Hanh. Claude became a student at the Vietnamese monastery and retreat center Plum Village in southern France. It was here that he became aware of the devastating and lasting effects of war and how to make peace with this unpeacefulness. Claude AnShin has taken vows of mendicancy. He formed The Zaltho Foundation in 1994 and has walked many pilgrimages.
“He (Thich Nhat Hanh) told us that the only way to heal, to transform suffering, is to stand face-to-face with suffering, to realize the intimate details of suffering and how our life in the present is affected by it.” (Pg 42)
I was privileged to hear Claude AnShin at Naropa University while attending college there in the spring of 2013. (The entire talk can be seen by clicking the link.) I recently re-read his book and realized how pertinent his message is, not only in these times, but especially here in Montana. We are home to a large number of veterans, who constitute more than 13% percent of our population that is over 18 years of age. While Montana’s veteran population is relatively small, veterans account for more than one out of every five suicide deaths in the state.
I invite you to consider sharing this project with anyone you think might like to have Claude AnShin speak or lead a meditation retreat while he is with us in Montana.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I so appreciate your time in reading this, and for your consideration. Please use the form on the Connect page.
